Limebank Road and Earl Armstrong Road Update |

 I would like to provide residents with an update on the construction taking place on Limebank Road and Earl Armstrong Road. I know these projects are important for residents.
Limebank Road from River Road to Balmoral Drive is scheduled to be completed in October of 2010. This project is moving forward on budget and on schedule.

Film being shot in Ward 22 |

It was my pleasure to stop by the set of the upcoming film "House At The End of the Street" which is being filmed on Fenton Road in Gloucester this past Tuesday, August 31st. This is the biggest film that has ever come to Ottawa (Starring Elisabeth Shue - Piranha 3D, Hamlet, Adventures in Babysitting) and the set was open for the first and only time, until Production is over for media and guests.

South Ottawa Police Station Proposed Location Announced |

 OTTAWA – August 31, 2010 – Ottawa Police Chief Vern White, along with City Councillors Eli El-Chantiry, Jan Harder, and Steve Desroches, announced today that the proposed future South Ottawa Police Station will be built at the intersection of Prince of Wales Drive and Woodroffe Avenue in Barrhaven.
"Today’s announcement could not be more relevant," said Councillor Desroches. "With the ever-expanding communities of Barrhaven and Riverside South, there is an increasing need for enhanced emergency services."
