Strandherd-Armstrong Bridge - March 10, 2011
Although the winter weather is still holding on, I would like to update the community on the progression of the Strandherd Armstrong Bridge.
The project continues to move forward and I am pleased to report that it remains on time and on budget. The footings for the foundation on the east side (Riverside South) are complete while the west side (Barrhaven) will begin to be installed in the coming weeks.
Over the coming months, we will begin to see some real noticeable progress with the bridge taking shape. It is anticipated that by October the bridge launching system will be mostly constructed.
