My fourth annual Earth Day Tree Planting on Saturday, May 7th, 2011 is coming soon and I would like to invite you to join me on this special day. We will be planting another 2000 trees in Riverside South as part of my commitment to plant a total of 10,000 trees in Gloucester-South Nepean. Who: Everyone is invited to attend What: Earth Day Tree Planting Festival When: Saturday, May 7th, 2011 - 9am to approximately noon. Where: along storm pond 3 in Riverside South, furthest north behind Marble Canyon Drive; Entrance off Marble Canyon Drive Why: To plant another 2000 treesTrees improve our air quality and are a key factor in overall improvements to the environment. In additon to tree planting, there will be a number of other activities including environmental displays, children's crafts, a continental breakfast for the planting volunteers, a magician and a visit from Little Ray's Reptiles!
