Hail to the Chief!
I am pleased to announce that Councillor Jan Harder and I will be hosting a fundraising dinner on Sunday, February 19th in honour of Chief Vern White to show our appreciation for all he has done for Barrhaven. Proceeds from the evening will benefit project s.t.e.p., a charity chosen by Chief White, which supports school-based addictions treatment, education, and prevention. Limited tickets will be available for this event.
You can purchase your tickets at the Barrhaven Legion Branch 641 for fifty dollars each beginning Friday, January 27th, 2012. If you have any questions, please call my office at 613-580-2751.
