Saturday, February 11, marks Hockey Day in Canada here in the capital and there are plenty of activities available for families, young and old.  I invite everyone to come out to their local rink to participate in the fun. 

The Riverside South Community Association will be hosting their Hockey Day in Canada event from 11 AM to 3 PM at Spratt Rink, 4191 Spratt Road.  Bring your skates for shinny hockey, family skating and to test your skills on the ice!    

In  Barrhaven, the Havenlea-Chapman Mills Community Association will be hosting their 5th Annual Winter Family Fun Day on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Cresthaven Park (Cresthaven Drive between Farley Mowat P.S. and St. Andrew School) from 10 am to 2 pm.  The day will be packed with fun, including games, skating, hockey with the Ottawa Police Services, and much more.
