 Residents may have noticed that construction is also underway on the recreational field house in Claudette Cain Park. The 1,100 square foot structure will contain washrooms, a small multipurpose room and well as a small canteen. The structure will be available for community use as well as storage for outdoor rink supplies, tables and chairs. The building will be a welcome addition to the park and will complement the planned play equipment, enhanced fields and summer splash pad. For more information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

A concept plan for the development of the second phase of Claudette Cain Park, which serves the Riverside South community, has been prepared. The plan identifies works to be completed from the first phase of development (pathway lighting), and proposes some additional new uses and facilities for the second phase. Members of the public are invited to attend a public open house with Councillor Steve Desroches, City staff and design consultants to review and provide comment on the concept plan for the second phase of development of Claudette Cain Park.
