 The installation of storm water sewer at the future intersection of Strandherd and Prince of Wales will take place from July 4 to July 8, 2008.
The nature of the construction activity requires the road to be closed. Prince of Wales will be closed between Woodroffe and Crestway starting at 7:00 PM Friday July 4. The road will remain closed through 3:30 PM Tuesday July 8.

 Plans are moving forward for the 8.6 acre green space located along Prince of Wales Drive at Crestway Drive.
Councillor Desroches recognizes that green spaces serve many purposes. They provide our community with clean air and water. They also promote a healthy lifestyle, by encouraging walking, cycling and other leisure activities.

 A concept plan for the development of the second phase of Claudette Cain Park, which serves the Riverside South community, has been prepared. The plan identifies works to be completed from the first phase of development (pathway lighting), and proposes some additional new uses and facilities for the second phase. Members of the public are invited to attend a public open house with Councillor Steve Desroches, City staff and design consultants to review and provide comment on the concept plan for the second phase of development of Claudette Cain Park.

Like you, I am excited about the RCMP's relocation to South Nepean.
Their move to our community will not only bring the RCMP to South Nepean, it will encourage the continued development of the South Merivale Business Park. This will mean more jobs for residents in South Nepean, reducing commute times, and improving the quality of life for residents of our community.
Recently the RCMP came to South Nepean to make a presentation on their move to our community.
