Rec centre’s expanded space will be ‘very well used’: councillor
A planned expansion to the Rideauview Community Centre will provide welcome space for programs which as "bursting at the seams," according to Gloucester-South Nepean Coun. Steve Desroches.
"This is to deal with the current need in the community," Desroches said recently while walking the hallways of the community centre.

City ECOPASS Initiative Supports RCMP Move to New Headquarters |

Ottawa – March 08, 2010 – Councillor Steve Desroches and Pierre Poilievre, MP Nepean Carleton are pleased to announce that the ECOPASS is now being made available to RCMP employees across the national capital region. Since their move to the South Merivale Business Park, City staff and Royal Canadian Mounted Police officials have been working closely to provide RCMP employees with the popular OC Transpo ECOPASS.
